A voluntary group in Etchingham, East Sussex, known as de Etchingham Community Interest Company (CIC), has been honoured with the Queen’s Award for Voluntary Service, the highest award a voluntary group can receive in the UK. We designed the Bistro and Coal yard garden in 2009, it has since been visited by His Royal Highness Prince Charles & Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, Prince Richard, Duke of Gloucester and many other important dignitaries. The garden and Bistro have become the community hub of Etchingham.
